Cijiawan River is a protected sanctuary for Formosan landlocked salmon. The rare fish a species that dates back to the Ice Age, and can only found in Cijiawan River. It's estimated that only few hundred Formosan landlocked salmon remain. The fish has been listed as an endangered species.

Silver grass is commonly seen herbaceous plant in Taiwan, but the silver grass here has red flowers, instead of white, due to an abundance of sulfur in the area.

Dongsa Marine National Park is located in the South China Sea, between Hongkong, Taiwan, and Luzon Islands, and covers an area of 353,668 hectares. The Dongsa Marine National Park include Dongsa Island and Dongsa Atoll. The Dongsa Atoll is circural coral reef, which emerges at low ride. According to some estimates, it took million of year for nature to form the Dongsa Atoll, making it one of the environmental wonder if the world.

Kenting National Park - Maobitou |
Kenting National Park is located on the Southernmost tips of Taiwan. It surrounded by the sea on three sides and cover an area of 33,268.65 hectares. The Maobitou promontory mark the dividing point between the Taiwan Strait and the Bashi Strait. Maobitou, or literally "Cats Nose", got it's its name from a cat-like to k that broke off the cliff.
